6.9 UP & Pink 6.9 UP

It just didn’t seem right to put all the time and effort into serving the best beers we can from our Tasting Room and then serve mainstream, industrial produced soft drinks.

Both of these lemonades are crafted 80 litres at a time on our old Pilot brewing system. We hand squeeze a mind blowing number of lemons and limes giving us a great blend of citrus flavour and acidity. For sweetness we’ve found the most local honey we can (100 metres away) and then peel and juice a scary amount of ginger to dry out the finish.

For the pink version we add a locally produced red currant cordial to the mix.

We don’t heat the fruit juices or honey above 40C, which means we are not killing the vitamin C and other natural goodness in the ingredients.  Contains no alcohol and has roughly 50% of the sugar content found in the mainstream sodas and juices.
